Red, White, and Polo: Centennial Cup Finals

Denver Polo Club lit up summer with patriotic spirit and polo excitement during its 4th of July Tailgate Party on July 6th. Friends, families, and fans gathered for an unforgettable day under the Colorado sun, where the energy was high, the tailgates were festive, and the polo was world-class. A special thank-you goes out to South Metro Denver Fire, Douglas County Mounted Patrol, and The Westernaires whose presence honored Colorado’s brave first responders, miliary personel and veterans. Their participation added a meaningful sense of community pride and celebration to the event.

On the field, the action was fierce—but two standouts stole the show.

• Best Playing Pony, Beverly, owned by Luke Clarke, demonstrated grace, speed, and heart; sponsored by ElleVet Sciences
• Most Valuable Player honor went to Jason Wates, who delivered a stellar performance and thrilled the crowd with every play
